September is always highly waited upon to start the upland season here in New Mexico. Foremost, there is Dusky Grouse hunting; think pheasant hunting in elk country. It is a great way to initiate the season. This photo was taken during a September hunt by a hunt buddy. This is Apachecadillac's first grouse, his official entry to the Royal Order of Dusky Hunters. Please note the SXS under his arm.
Beginning the Summer 2013, my English Pointer, Conde Duque, "Duke" will be standing at stud. He is an orange and white male out of Hifive Kennels in MN. His pedigree features both Miller and Elhew bloodlines with Ch. Dateline Black List as his sire and Elhew Sinbad as is grandsire.
